Seeing and recognizing patterns
Seeing and recognizing patterns (loops) is like getting in touch with Light! ✨ It’s like the lights are turned on and you all of a sudden see more; you see clearer, so the loop can end. But “seeing” doesn’t always feel good. In fact, seeing can bring some pain because you also likely see your part in the pattern or realize how long it’s been going on.
“There is no birth of consciousness without pain.” – Carl Jung
It hurts to SEE. It requires taking responsibility, but it’s the pain in fact that teaches us to use this Light and new vision for a new way forward because the consciousness gained gives us a choice. We see the pattern we are/were in and the Light gives a choice we didn’t have before when we were trapped in it, in the dark.
The other day I was talking to a client about this subject and she’s working through realizing and accepting some difficult things. Because of the challenge associated, she didn’t realize there was Light involved. And I realized as a result that there was a misunderstanding of Light.
Working with and being in Light doesn’t necessarily mean things are great and easy. It can also mean you are starting to SEE, are in pain, and gaining more consciousness and more space to be able to integrate learnings. This takes work, willingness, and presence.
“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.” – Carl Jung
